This book covers the basic principle of digital fringe projection techniques and how to develop digital fringe projection systems for 3D shape measurements. It mainly serves as an introductory reference book but shows perspective on the future of technology advancements.
Together with Profs. Cappelleri and Ramani, Prof. Zhang won a $1M NSF grant (https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1637961&HistoricalAwards=false).

Four new graduate students Yatong An, Jaesang Hyun, Chufan Jiang, and Huitaek Yun joined our team in August 2015. Jaesang and Chufan and direct-PhD students and Huitaek and Yatong and PhD students. Welcome everyone!
We completely redesigned our lab website and changed our lab name to xyztlab meaning we are conducting research in 3D (X, Y, Z) and time (t) space. We hope you like our new design and come to visit us often.
